Clyde Higgs Scholarships- University of Warwick UK 2019

The scholarships are to support students interested in pursuing a career in the agri-food sector. The principle aim of the Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust is to provide support and encourage new blood in farming through education and other means and finance projects to help agriculture succeed and ultimately thrive in a challenging environment.

Thanks to the considerable generosity of the Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust, up to six Clyde Higgs Scholarships, each worth £6,758, are available to UK applicants for the MSc courses ‘Sustainable Crop Production: Agronomy for the 21st Century’ and ‘Food Security’.

Degree Level: Scholarship is available for Masters Program

Available subjects: Food Security, Sustainable Crop Production, Environmental Bioscience

Scholarship Benefits: Each Scholarship worths £6,758. Scholarships worth £9,010 (100% of course fees) are available to students in special circumstances.

Eligible Nationalities: UK nationals are eligible to apply

On the application form please provide the details requested and explain:

  • Why you have chosen to study your particular course
  • How the receipt of this award would make a difference to you
  • What your aspirations are in terms of your future career and how this relates to the future success of the farming/food production sector.

Applicants will be short-listed and those on the short-list will be asked to take part in a telephone or Skype interview.

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after the closing date.

Deadline: The closing date for applications is 30 June 2019.
