Scholarship Description: The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London is offering 12 new MSc scholarships for students applying for 2018 entry.
Scholarship Provider: The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience is a research institution dedicated to discovering what causes mental illness and diseases of the brain.
English is the language of instruction at Simon Fraser University. All applicants, regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, will be required to demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the following subjects (Addiction Studies, Affective Disorders, Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences, Clinical Neuropsychiatry, Clinical Neuroscience, Early Intervention in Psychosis, Family Therapy, Forensic Mental Health, Genes, Environment & Development in Psychology & Psychiatry, Global Mental Health, Health Psychology, Master of Science in International Programme in Addiction Studies (IPAS) , Mental Health Studies, Neuroimaging, Neuroscience, Organisational Psychiatry & Psychology, Psychiatric Research and War & Psychiatry.
Scholarship Benefits: 10 scholarships at a value of £1,000 each and 2 scholarships at a value of £5,000 each
Number of Scholarships: Total 12 scholarships are available.
Eligible Nationalities: These awards are open to UK/EU and International applicants.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- Have applied to one of the following full-time MSc programmes at King’s College London, and be due to commence their course in September 2018: Addiction Studies, Affective Disorders, Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences, Clinical Neuropsychiatry, Clinical Neuroscience, Early Intervention in Psychosis, Family Therapy, Forensic Mental Health, Genes, Environment & Development in Psychology & Psychiatry, Global Mental Health, Health Psychology, Master of Science in International Programme in Addiction Studies (IPAS) , Mental Health Studies, Neuroimaging, Neuroscience, Organisational Psychiatry & Psychology, Psychiatric Research and War & Psychiatry.
- Fulfil the relevant academic and English proficiency entry requirements for the MSc programme, set by King’s College London.
- As the award provides partial funding only, applicants must be able to confirm that they have/are seeking the means to support any outstanding fees/costs not covered by this scheme i.e. through other funding awards or self-funding.
- You must not already hold an MSc or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Students who already hold a master’s degree or higher are not eligible for this funding but students who have undertaken prior postgraduate study such as PG Diplomas or PG Certificates or clinical/medical qualifications are eligible.
Application Procedure:
You must submit an online admissions application for one of the above MSc courses. Once you have applied for your chosen MSc course, you will automatically be entered into the competition process.
