Master’s degree courses in three faculties: Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, and Faculty of Science.

24 awards in total, 8 for each faculty.

Students of any nationality.

Each faculty gives 8 scholarships, and each one is worth £5,000. The money is not paid to you: it is used only as a fee waiver against your tuition fees. The waiver applies to the first year of study only. There is no cash alternative to a fee waiver.

The scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities, including UK, EU and international applicants. It is awarded for academic excellence. You must have applied for a master’s degree course in one of the three faculties named above. You must also hold an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time taught master’s course starting in AY 2021.

Complete the University of Bath scholarship application form in the application tracker. As part of the process for September 2021 entry, you answer 3 to 5 questions.

There are three rounds. Apply by 18 January 2021 for a decision by 12 February 2021; by 26 April 2021 for a decision by 28 May 2021; or by 16 July 2021 for a decision by 16 August 2021.

Check the official website (link below) for full details on how to apply.

This award suits you if you are applying for a full-time taught master’s at Bath in Engineering & Design, Humanities & Social Sciences, or Science, and you have a strong academic record to show for it. You can be from the UK, the EU or anywhere else, as long as you hold an offer for a course starting in AY 2021.

It is less useful if you need money for living costs, because the award only reduces tuition fees and cannot be paid in cash.
